Consul General Herrera-Lim recently announced the appointment by the Secretary of Foreign affairs of Hon. Adelio Angelito S. Cruz, a career diplomat as the next Consul General in Los Angeles with jurisdiction over Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Consul General Cruz currently serves as Charge d’ Affaires, ep. at the Philiipine Embassy in Tripoli, Libya
Consul General Cruz holds a B.A.in Political Science at the University of the Philippines. He was described by Consul Herrera-Lim as a person with strategic vision and has extensive experience in crisis management.
Consul General Cruz and Consul General Herrera-Lim are alumni of Lourdes School Quezon City Batch 1983 and 1980.
