Binyag Francisco initiates new students

New members of the Lourdesian community were given a warm welcome during the annual Binyag Francisco. It is a tradition of welcoming new students to the Lourdesian way of life facilitated by the Guidance Area.

Grade School Department conducted the annual Binyag Francisco last July 7, 2016. It was attended by the youngest and newest batch of Lourdesians mostly from Grade 1.They were given activities to know more about the school’s patron saint, St. Francis of Assisi facilitated by Mr. Pedring Ibrao Jr. It was a fun-filled day wherein activities given allow students to be more comfortable in their new second home.

On the other hand, the High School Department conducted the Binyag Francisco last July 22, 2016. New students mostly grade 7 were given orientation on academic expectations by Mrs. Cecilia Toledo and school rules and regulations by Mrs. Cielo Pineda. Getting to know activities and an activity that  allows them to develop a Lourdesian mindset were experienced by the students. Moreover, a talk on the life of St. Francis of Assisi was given by Mr. Arturo Albay. The day ends with the students singing with pride Lourdes Forever, the school hymn.
