LSQC welcomes SY 2022-2023

Summer days are finally over, marking the start of the school year 2022-2023 for Lourdes School Quezon City (LSQC) community on July 18.

Rev. Fr. Jeffrey Torres, OFM Cap., Campus Ministry and Mission Officer, together with Rev. Fr. Francisco Atienza, OFM Cap., Director of Finance, and Ms. Maria Carmen Marcelo, Student Activities and Social Action Program (SA/SAP) Coordinator, led the morning praise and the morning assembly, commencing of the new school year.

The students were guided through the new protocols for the in-person classes in school and for online classes by the Assistant Principal for Students Affairs, Mrs. Ma. Socorro A. Pradillo. Subsequently, Ms. Almia Baluyot, the school librarian, discussed with the students how to use the library, how to borrow books from the library, and when it is available.

The Lourdesian community, especially the students, are looking forward to returning to class because of the friends they will meet. As Joyce Tiffanie Santos, a grade 8 student, said, “I’ll be able to meet new friends, and even if you aren’t the sociable type, there’s [sic] still new opportunities that present itself[sic].”
